Welcome to our website. 

In these Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Conditions of Sale”), “we” or “us” means The Wise House and “you” means the person, organisation or entity that purchased the products or related services from us. 

Please read through these Conditions of Sale carefully as they form the agreement under which we will supply products and services to you. These Conditions of Sale apply to all sales made by us to consumers for products and services are purchased online. 

You accept the Terms by remaining on the Website and/or by accessing the Services on the Website. 

Legal Capacity

(1) You must be eighteen (18) years of age or over to purchase products from the website. 

(2) Any Order and/or purchase made by you using this website is an acknowledgement by you that you: 

(a) are over the age of eighteen (18) years;

(b) accept these terms;

(c) agree that you have entered into a legal contract with The Wise House in relation to these terms; and

(d) these terms, together with your order, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Wise House for the supply of products.

(3) The Wise House reserves the right to take legal action and seek compensation from the parent or guardian of a minor who causes an order to be placed, for any loss or damage The Wise House may suffer as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor. 

Payment Options & Pricing Policy

(1) The Products that we sell on our site can be paid by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Stripe, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Afterpay. If your order is over $1,000 we can assist you with placing your order via a bank transfer if this option of payment is preferred. Please call us to place your order. 

(2) All pricing and delivery charges will be quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and are to be paid in Australian dollars. 

(3) All products & services sold on thewisehomeau.com.au are inclusive of all taxes including GST. 

(4) All payments must be made in full prior to delivery. 

(5) Unless stated otherwise, we shall hold the prices contained in our offers for 24 hours from the date of offer. After this period, it is the prices stated in our order confirmation which shall apply. 

(6) At thewisehomeau.com.au, we strive to ensure all products listings, descriptions, prices and stock availabilities are as accurate as possible on a daily basis. 

(7) To the extent permitted by law, any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in sales literature, quotation, price list, acceptance or offer, invoice or other documents or information issued by us will be subject to correction without any liability on our part. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific, personal requirements. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. 


(1) Delivery dates are estimates, unless a fixed date for the transactions has been expressly agreed in writing. Standard Delivery will usually occur Monday to Friday (8am to 6pm) but could occur outside of these hours during peak periods. We do our best to keep you informed along the way as to when your delivery will arrive. 

(2) Item will be delivered by one of our national carrier partners, e.g. Australia Post, Allied Express, Couriers Please, Fastway, Star Track Express, Toll Express or other carrier as appropriate. 

Passing of risk

(1) The risk of accidental loss or accidental deterioration of the products shall pass over to the Buyer when the goods are handed over. 


(1) Returns of goods delivered by us that are free of defects are excluded. If you changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the product or had no use for it, there is no option for the item to be returned.  

(2) If you identify that an item is damaged and/or faulty, you must notify us in writing within 24 hours from receipt of delivery providing your purchase number and also evidence of damage, which may include photos, video or any type of recording clearly illustrating the problem so that we could investigate further. We will work collaboratively with you to find a solution that meets your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. 

(3) Nothing in this returns policy limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, representations or conditions implied or imposed by law, including the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”) (or any liability under them) which by law may not be limited or excluded. 

Warranty Claims

Your product may come with a manufacturer’s warranty. The manufacturer’s warranty is in addition to but may overlap with any rights and remedies you may have under applicable law, including any Consumer Guarantees. If you are not considered a “consumer” within the meaning of the ACL, the manufacturer’s warranty may be your sole remedy. However, you should check the manufacturer’s warranty carefully as many manufacturers’ warranties will not apply in a business or commercial setting. If you would like to make a claim under the manufacturer’s warranty, please contact our Customer Service Team. 

In addition to the warranty set out above, you may have other rights as our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. We will work collaboratively with you to find a solution that meets your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and/or this warranty. 

You will not be entitled to a remedy under this Warranty for: 

(1) Normal wear and tear 

(2) Damage arising from improper assembly or modification  

(3) Damage arising from abnormal use or abuse 

(4) Damage that you cause after delivery 

(5) Damage resulting from a failure to take reasonable care to prevent the product from being of acceptable quality 

(6) Damage to external or product packaging only 

(7) Damage occurring during your own handling and transportation of goods 


Once your order is placed and processed, it is non-cancellable. However you may cancel all or part of an order prior it has been processed, in which case you can choose whether to receive a store credit voucher for the full amount paid or receive a refund back to you, if you choose a refund, please note the cancellation fee applies which is 25% of the total payment made which will be deducted from the refund.  

After an order reaches the dispatch processing stage, cancellations or changes are impossible. As we aim to process your order as soon as possible, which could be within minutes of you placing your order, requests for cancellations should be lodged as soon as possible after ordering.  


Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges of our products. 

Viruses and Hacking

Whilst we do our best to ensure that our website is virus-free, you acknowledge that the Internet and e-commerce facilities may attract unknown contingencies out of our control. As such, we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus, system failures or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our website or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it. We always recommend all Internet users ensure they have up to date virus checking software installed. 


The failure by The Wise House to exercise or enforce any right or provision under these terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision under these terms will only be effective if it is in writing and signed by The Wise House AU.
